Follow up from the JIYM conference

The conference was a great success, thank you for the part you played in it - very much appreciated!

Many ideas for further developments were proposed including holding a similar conference next year. Other proposals include:

a. Students writing and exchanging what they have produced on such topics as "A day in my life"

b. Producing art work entitled "My family" or "The world around me"

c. Writing a play entitled "A week in my life" sending the script to Uganda or UK as appropriate. Students in the other country interpret it and produce it. The play is videoed and the recording returned to the originators of the play

d. Review set texts

e. Produce case studies for general studies lessons

f. Set up pen pals between schools from the Uganda and the UK.
